Marketing with a Master's Touch: Meet Heather Lorge, MBA
lifelong passions
My passion for marketing started when I was just four years old. I would memorize and recite tag lines from different commercials to complete strangers; and all the people I knew. I have always been fascinated by the way words can captivate people. Creating catchy quips and one-liners has been a favorite past-time of mine. I believe the best creative content has true depth and will stimulate a passionate response even with repeat exposure. This is the kind of content I love to create the most.
My love for content production started when I was about ten years old, and I "fell in love" with Lucy. I spent a lot of time with my grandmother growing up, and I Love Lucy was one of her favorite shows. It quickly became a favorite of mine as well. I was captivated by her comedy and the amazing, true story of everything she accomplished in her life. Lucille Ball was the first woman to run a television production company, and the first woman to appear as pregnant on network television. Being a woman in the content production industry makes me feel like a pioneer following in her footsteps.
In my teen years, I developed a passion for writing. I wrote songs, poems, plays, and more. I realized it wasn't just a passion, but a talent as well when I attended college and all my professors were blown away by how powerful my writing was. I still love writing, and intend to publish a book someday. I enjoy helping to develop and publish passionate, creative material for my employment at Visions Tree Service.
